The hectic Moscow.. its huge distances, its endless metro rides, endless avenues and the difficult to walk them because of constructions or because they are just not though to be walked coexist with some incredible buildings, theaters, restaurants, bars and everything that such a huge capital city can offer.
My friends Fob & Yuka received me at their home in the south, about a 40’ metro ride to the city center. A beautiful and comfortable apartment where I had a great space to work in the mornings, and an automated coffee machine!
I met there the biggest cat ever, who shares space with another normal one, and which are a nice company while at home.
5 days in Moscow run quickly. You only go once a day to the center due to distances. Still I had time to walk around the usual centric places, go for some craft beers with my friends. Also my friend Dasha invited me to a folk music concert her company was hosting. I went to the music museum, where I met Julia, who told me she had a piano at home and kindly let me go rehearse there the next day. That was great since except for some random bar piano playing I wasn’t playing since the concert at the festival in St. Petersburg.
The weather was great but slightly colder than in St. Petersburg, you can really feel how the summer is saying goodbye to Russia already. 🙂
On Friday afternoon, I went to the Vnukovo airport to fly to my next destination: Ekaterinburg.
